We are a collective dedicated to empowering young leaders and creatives. We produce raw and impactful films while prioritizing community development. Our mission is to equip aspiring creatives with the tools and resources they need to succeed.
We provide:

We achieve this through curated programs for educational institutions, including schools and colleges. Our workshops and talks, ranging from 2 hours to 3 days, guide young leaders in transforming their ideas into tangible films. We offer tailored support throughout their developmental journey, adapting to the specific needs of each service provider
Our Story
GIJ was founded by two young Black women from South London, driven by a vision to create impactful films and cutting-edge visuals. Born from working-class, single-parent backgrounds, we faced significant barriers to entry in the film industry. With limited resources, we invested our own savings and passion into building a platform to share our stories and uplift our community.
We understand the challenges faced by young creatives from underrepresented backgrounds. Our mission is to provide the opportunities we never had, fostering a thriving community where talent is nurtured and celebrated. We aim to break down barriers and create pathways for young people to succeed in the media industry.
Despite facing financial hardships and navigating complex political landscapes, we persevered. We built our own industry, showcasing our talents through powerful films that resonate with our community.
